Tim has been a self-employed businessman most of his adult life. After serving in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, Tim attended UNC-Wilmington, Campbell University, and Miller-Motte Business College where he majored in business management and accounting.
Tim worked as an independent contractor, traveling the Country and its terrortories inspecting damages from natural disasters. From hurricanes, floods & ice storms in the States to Typhoons in Guam & Cyclones in American Samoa. Tim was always rated as one of the top inspectors and completed approx 10,000 inspections. Tim has been in the demolition and storm recovery business the last 6 years.
Locally, Tim spent about 7 years on the Surf City Vol Fire Dept & the Surf City Vol Rescue Squad. Tim organized one of the largest mass casualty drills in the area which included dozens of different emergency departments, including “Life Flight” from Pitt Memorial Hospital.
At the age of 17, Tim pledged to defend the U.S. Constitution; since that time, Tim has continued to serve his community. Tim has worked to build a conservative Republican Party in this area and has been involved in several conservative candidates’ campaigns. In 1988, Tim Co-Chaired the Jim Gardner for Lt. Governor campaign in Pender County and in 2008, he Chaired Pat McCrory’s bid for Governor in Pender County.
